Let it….

It came and conquered London making a fairytale setting within a mere few hours. The excited child in me dug out the fur-lined wellies and carefully roamed the local area. Not feeling the need to venture too far (as the familiar looked alluringly alien) I headed for a mix of the residential streets and local parks. I decided to head to the park where all the kids were celebrating a resurrection of their sledges from the garden shed.
Springfield Park was overflowing with families hitting the steep slopes and a few were bravely sporting kitchen trays as impromptu toboggans.

After feeling physical pain in my fingers I nestled back to an epic bath and a cuppa and realized one of the most beautiful things about snow is the silence it brings….OAO
